How accurate is this compared to a human packaging consultant?

Every recommendation is grounded in a cited source from our research library, not generated freehand - so you can verify the reasoning the same way you'd check a consultant's citations. We recommend using the report as a strong starting brief for your supplier conversation, not a final unreviewed decision.

What if neither of the two proposals is right for us?

You can adjust your goals and constraints and regenerate - most teams use the two proposals as a starting comparison, then refine from there rather than treating either as final.

How do tokens work, and can I stop after the free Simple Report?

Yes. Every account gets three free Simple Reports, spendable in any combination across Same Cost, Better Impact and Reduce Packaging Cost - an account is needed so usage and tokens can be tracked, but never a card. After that you pay per generation, and each price buys exactly the tokens that generation draws from your balance - roughly €0.60-€0.65 per token, slightly better on the deeper reports. A Full Report is €27.99 (44 tokens) for Same Cost, €34.99 (54 tokens) for Reduce Packaging Cost and €41.99 (65 tokens) for Premium Upgrade; Production Ready is €49.99 (83), €59.99 (99) and €69.99 (114) on the same three goals. Premium Upgrade has no free allowance - its Simple Report always costs 25 tokens. You choose which depth to unlock, and can stop after a Simple Report with nothing spent.

Why does the price depend on which goal I choose?

Because the goal decides how wide the analysis has to be. A cost-reduction pass is a narrower brief - material, format and print-pass levers on a pack you already sell - while a premium repositioning has to weigh craft, finish and brand cues against a higher shelf price, which is the widest of the three. Each cell in the pricing matrix is one generation at one depth for one goal, so you are never paying for analysis your goal doesn't need.

Is our product and packaging data kept confidential?

Yes. Your product details and current packaging are used only to generate your report and are not shared with other customers or used to identify your brand publicly.

Does it work for our specific material or category?

PackageIQ covers bottles, pouches, boxes, jars, tubes and cartons across FMCG, cosmetics, food & beverage and home care. If your category falls outside these, get in touch before you start - we'll tell you directly whether it's a fit.

How does PackageIQ flag compliance risk?

Against the rules that actually bind the target country you pick in the wizard - the EU regime (PPWR, 1169/2011, food-contact and cosmetics law) for an EU market, UK EPR and Food Information Regulations for the UK, the applicable national regime elsewhere - including which language mandatory on-pack information has to be in. The report flags where your packaging, materials or labelling may need to change and cites the specific regulation, so your compliance team can verify it independently. Regulatory context comes with the Full Report and Production Ready depths.
